Micah Pritchett, Co-Coordinating PastorMicah Pritchett, Coordinating Pastor
Micah was born and raised in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. Most of his extended family lives in Alabama. Micah completed a degree in Political Science at the University of Alabama where he graduated in 1997 and later received a Masters of Social Work at Baylor University and a Masters of Divinity at Truett Seminary in 2003. Micah was ordained in May 2005 by DaySpring Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. After graduation Micah worked as a social worker for Providence Hospice until he and Elizabeth came to serve at Englewood as Co-Pastors in September 2005. In his free time Micah enjoys gardening, walking, cooking, reading, and is learning to golf.






Jim Swofford, Educator

Jim Swofford, Music Director
Jim has sixteen years experience as an educator. He received his bachelor degree from Central Missouri State University in 1992 and served as graduate assistant in 1997 at Northwest Missouri State University. Jim received his master’s degree the summer of 1998. Jim has taught anywhere from secondary to elementary vocal music. He was the BIST facilitator in his building at Maple Park Middle School. He also served on the site council within his building and took part in planning professional development as well. Jim has been a guest presenter for the Coalition of Essential Schools middle school conference. BIST changed life in the classroom for Jim. It was exciting to see the effect it had on him and especially the students.


Gloria Flanery, Accompanist
Gloria Flanery is a graduate of Central Baptist Theological Seminary with her M.Div. and has a B.A. with music performance emphasis from Vanguard University. She has a heart for mission work, music, and worship.

Gene and Gloria have been married for 34 years. In 1981 they set out with their two very young kids to become missionaries in Mexico. Five years later they moved with their three kids to the Philippines. Their fourth child was born in Cebu, Philippines. They returned to the States in 1998 and settled in Kansas City, KS. Gene has continued to do mission work with World Indigenous Missions.

Music has been a part of who Gloria is and what she does. Whether playing, developing others, or writing, God has used music as an expression of worship, outreach, and healing throughout her lifetime. At Englewood, she is excited to be part of a creative and talented team
